Command around Orc, Elfs and the other Warcraft 3 inhabitants by poking them with your fingers, navigate the map by moving your hand while grabbing the ground and control your armies through epic battles with voice commands!

Sounds like utopia?
It is actually possible right now!

A students PhD research resulted in a "multi user multimodal tabletop interaction", basically it is multi user gesture and speech interaction, which he choose to demonstrate in Warcraft 3 and Google Earth.

His work is presented in a video clip, where mostly Google Earth is beeing shown, but we also get to see him talk to peons and grunts and order them around with hand gestures.

Get you screen in Warcraft 3's point of view
In Warcraft 3, you see the world from a top-down perspective, so by putting the image on a table you can look down on the little Warcraft creatures in a more natural way.

Try Warcraft 3 in top-down view
This is actually pretty easy to do if you have a projector or an LCD monitor, just attach the projector to the roof and aim it down at a preferrably white table, or one with a white cloth. If you hava an LCD monitor, just tip it over... but gently, voilà!
